I bought this system as my first Hi-Fi system but was really dissappointed with the sound quality. The doesnt give the oomph it must for 2600 watts system. When compared to even the micro hi-fi systems the Sony offers the bass quality is really poor.
The tweeters offer a chill which can only be compared to road side speaker. Sony doesnt live up to the expectations it has. Though as its plus points the look is awsome and easy to use.
The cd player takes a lot of time to read u might go to sleep in the mean while. The radio reception is poor and to improve its reception u need to turn off the cd power off. and this will further increasing the cd reading time which is very annoying at times.
In comparison a Philips system offers u with more clarity more features for even lesser price.
